Updated OP! What are your thoughts on the SoP? I'd personally give it an 7 out of 10. Honestly, it really should've been broken up into a Partner Showcase and a first-party presentation. There was enough for each presentation to exist independently.
- As a video game presentation, it featured new info on a lot of great games coming in the near future. Only complaint is that there weren't many new reveals. Rayman was a major highlight, though literally every detail down to in-game screenshots were leaked well before the presentation. Bancho and Stuntman were also neat inclusions.
- As a first-party presentation, however, it's about what you would expect from Sony. Wolverine — while a bit too gore for me — looks like it'll be fantastic; the Tōken character reveal seems to have been a crowd pleaser (though I'm not too invested in this game), Until Dawn 2 is a cool reveal, and... well... I will say that Sony did a masterful job revealing God of War Fae: Simply running 20 minutes of uninterrupted gameplay is EXACTLY how any big game should be revealed. No need for nonsense cinematics that merely serve to drum up hype and decieve consumers. Granted, there was a lot of cinematics and very little in the actual playing of the game. But I guess that's kinda what you should come to expect with modern day GoW games.
