One of the things that were reported was how the Marathon team asked for the game to have more PVE but was ignored by the then heads of the company, now  the game director made a post last week about how they are working in more PVE and PVP-lite content so yeah, it's going to happen. The advantage is that Marathon doesn't need to be Destiny, it just needs to offer options thus is going to be way cheaper than the volume of content Destiny used to need.

i would happily grind Marathon if it had a bigger PvE focus. Game is fantastic, but I can only handle so much of the tension building sweatfest lol. Makes the seasonal resets more upsetting to accept.
