Pixel response is a problem with OLED?  Not my area of expertise, so it is an honest question.  My OLED claims 0.1 ms response time.  

Not problem per se, but if you want to emulate CRT perfectly, then yeah - your OLED is 100 microseconds (they go as low as 20-30), CRTs are around 1-10 microseconds, and MicroLED is in nanoseconds range (which is, honestly, an overkill for pure CRT simulation).
