If they decided to make it about core gamers and core gamers alone, yes. I believe it's possible. Think 2001-pre-kinect era Xbox. If they did that again, I think it could make a measurable comeback.

But they won't do that, so it's likely sunk forever. They're just delaying the inevitable.
