Just because she, or whoever is in charge of that at the company, is a bad manager, that doesn't mean that the people working there deserve less than others.

The following statement: "There are people doing really, really well in those spaces on PC for much smaller budgets, that we will never be able to achieve because we're based in London and have employees with pensions and so on." is prove of their missmanagement and automatically disqualifies anything she says.

British equivalent of MAGA or what? As in, doesn't seem to know how the world works outside of his country...

If he doesn't want to pay pensions, he'll need to go to the US... but I doubt he'll be able to do so on the same budget anymore, as wages are gonna be way higher.

I think what she's trying to (albeit clumsily) convey is that making what are, essentially, indie games with regular company structure employing 30 people, and no less in insanely overpriced London, is not sustainable - and she goes onto say ""I think going forward, we'll see that we've got a core team and any growth will come through contractors, which is something I hate about the industry. I've been in the industry for 20 years, and those of us who joined in the early 2000s, we had it very good. You want to be able to give that kind of stability, but I think that's a shift in how we want to work with people going forward."

That said, why they needed 40 developers (at peak) for Monument Valley 3 is baffling, to say the least, since that type of production goes anywhere between 1 person (like Tunic) to maybe 10 (like Cocoon).
