Ahh yes, enforcing a one-time license check is known to be the start of a series of changes which culminate into the complete and total loss of video game ownership. I genuinely don't even see how this new implementation is any different from any other routine proceedure... you guys jump waaaay too quick whenever you hear the words "DRM" and "license".

While you were still shitting in your Donkey Kong diapers. Sony was telling people to get 2 jobs to afford a PS3. Removing rumble from their controller telling people it was last gen tech. Telling people who's PSP's randomly ejected their discs was not a malfunction but a feature. When you first started to read, Xbox was telling people they can't play used games and the console would need a constant online connection. When your balls first dropped it was revealed PS4 will not play any games you own if the Cmos battery dies. Do you know what happened when people were loud about this? Sony lowered the price of PS3. A revised PSP was released fixing the disc issue. DualShock 3 came out. Xbox back peddled. Sony patched out the CMOS issues on PS4 which is still an issue on PS5. That is the other issue raised with this. Sony right now is using that pricing system different price for everyone. Something grocery outlets and fast food places also been trying. People been loud and others have dropped it. Let's see if Sony stops that. Staying quiet is never the answer. Esp when it comes to companies who have a history (a lot more than mentioned) of trying to fuck people over. Let's not forget we now have a plethora of Single Player games requiring an online connection. Something Sony openly boasted PS4 didn't do but now all platforms allow it.  You were not even a sperm in your dads sack whem DRM first was taking place and record companies were ruining entire families lives suing them into oblivion (and suing dead people and dogs)  or when buying songs legally only worked on the computer you bought them on. That was changed due to outcry as well.
