Ok, but what is exactly the problem here? you have to have an internet connection once every month to be able to launch the games you've purchased digitally? is that it? Even If they are already installed? Cause how does that work, they are already purchased and installed. 

Just the long term implications. Sony’s enabled online DRM first on all disc drives in their initial activation and now this. On the surface it’s not a big deal, but it makes you wonder how much further will they go as time goes on.

But also, there just shouldn’t be any DRM like this lol that’s just common sense though. You purchase a single player game, you shouldn’t ever have to worry about an arbitrary monthly timer.
