For games that actually got cancelled, ZombiU 2. The first one is still one of my favourite games on the Wii U and one of the most interesting survival horror games around. The sequel had potential to improve or fix the rougher edges (better story, more melee options and more fleshed put melee combat, better visuals, etc) while mantaining everything that made the game great. Sadly, Wii U flopped, the game got canned and with the second screen dying with the Wii U, there's no hope for it. Fuck, I think I'll start a new playthrough of both Dark Dawn and ZombiU. |
I'll second both the disappointment for ZombiiU 2 and the love for the first game. Managing your inventory on the second screen to the detriment of being able to see what was happening around your character on the main screen was a brilliant use of the second screen in my opinion. I got close a couple times but never managed to get my original character to the chopper. For my half a dozen play throughs I always died at least once. |
