Just beat this a few days ago. It's a VERY weird game. Like playing Metal Gear Solid on LSD lol. But man... it's also very emotional, especially the final chapters. More than once, Kojima was able to get me to really feel for these characters, and that's not easy to do. It's definitely an acquired taste, but if you can get into it, it's quite rewarding to see it all the way through.
