Two Unofficial Native PC Ports of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Are Now in Development
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/two-unofficial-native-pc-ports-of-the-legend-of-zelda-twilight-princess-are-now-in-development/
PC Zelda fans, get ready for some amazing news. It appears that two unofficial native PC ports of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are currently in development. Once they are complete, these projects will allow you to enjoy this Zelda game on PC.
The first project is called Courage Reborn. Courage Reborn was revealed to the public last week. Its initial trailer caught the eye of everyone, especially since it was running at 60FPS. However, there was a catch.
You see, this PC port is still in an early stage of development. Not only that, but the 60 FPS implementation isn’t great. As with many older emulated games, the game’s logic is effectively doubled when running at 60 FPS. That’s a big no-no for me. I understand it’s still early, but the modding team should have waited until they had a proper 60 FPS implementation in place.
The second project is called Dusk. Yesterday, its dev team released the first trailer for it. From what I can see, the gameplay footage in it still runs at 30FPS. The team claims that when the PC port is out, it will have support for unlocked framerates. However, apart from a cut-scene, we did not get a glimpse at the game running with 60FPS or 120FPS. Moreover, the on-screen prompts are still for gamepads, so I don’t know whether it will have native KB&M support.
Anyway, it’s good to see two teams working on PC ports of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. And, since there is now competition, I’m certain that one of them will be released really soon.
For those wondering, no. Nintendo will not be able to shut them down. Neither of these projects will include any in-game assets. As such, Nintendo will not be able to take them down.

If you're finding Resident Evil: Requiem a bit scary, why not mod it to make the enemies tiny
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/resident-evil/if-youre-finding-resident-evil-requiem-a-bit-scary-why-not-mod-it-to-make-the-enemies-tiny/
Resident Evil: Requiem is my favourite Capcom game in years, and one reason for that is it gets genuinely scary at times. That's not just in the Grace sections either: Leon might be a complete badass but, on Insanity difficulty especially, the game doesn't hesitate to swarm you with teeth and claws, alongside some truly horrible death animations.
So if it all gets a bit much, might I suggest just making all those nasty monsters super small? It's hard to be scared by a cleaver-wielding zombie chef when he doesn't even come up to Grace's kneecap, after all. Such joys await thanks to the straightforwardly named Enemies Scale Modifier from modder lucablight83
The mod requires RE Framework installed to work, but after that the script will let you modify enemy size in both directions: you can shrink them down to 10% of their original size, or scale them up to 300% larger. The effect is toggled with an in-game button and slider that should apply any changes instantaneously, though of course there are some glitches with things like enemy clothing when you suddenly make a room full of zombies into miniature zombies.
The mod's creator also notes that "sometimes, when the enemies are killed, there are weird physics glitches, like the bodies move on their own (or even fly away…)"
One side effect of this mod is that it actually makes Requiem both funny and much harder at the same time. Leon's opening scene now features a load of normal-sized NPCs fleeing in terror from tiny zombies which are quite difficult to shoot and, while it's hard to feel intimidated by a pint-sized doctor with a ludicrously billowing coat, it's also not easy at all to put him down. As for the likes of Chunk, he ends up looking almost cute. Almost.

GAMING NEWS

Hacker group ShinyHunters has released the Rockstar files
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/hacker-group-shinyhunters-has-released-the-rockstar-files/
A few days ago, the hacker group ShinyHunters breached Rockstar Games’ servers and obtained several files. After attempting to pressure Rockstar into paying to prevent a potential leak, the group has now released all of those files onto the Internet.
The good news for Rockstar is that the leaked files have no connection to GTA 6 or any other unannounced games. So, for most gamers, this will be a nothingburger. Still, the files do contain some interesting details about GTAO and RDRO.
