What does it even mean to “own” a video game?

I’m gonna be honest, all, I kinda just don’t care about “ownership” at this point… which is an awfully large turn-around from my post this morning lol. IDK I mean I’m gonna be able to emulate the game regardless once the ISO/ROM files inevitably release online alongside a solid emulator.

That said: I’ve decided against going with GOG for the moment— don’t love the lack of QoL features of GOG compared to Steam.
