Thursday gaming news, part number two:
Extraction shooter The Cube, Save Us has announced it's shutting down just three weeks after it launched

Extraction shooters seem to be all the rage right now, what with Arc Raiders still going strong almost five months after launch, and Marathon hot off the presses. Well, the genre's a hit in theory anyway, as Arc Raiders is really the only extraction shooter to break into the mainstream—even Bungie's stab at it, while excellent, still hasn't exploded into a full-scale phenomenon.
That brings us to The Cube, Save Us, a post-apocalyptic extraction shooter developed by XLGames, which—just three weeks after it launched—has announced it's shutting down.
Overwatch's new hero Sierra has an ability that could mean she's destined to dethrone Jetpack Cat as the most banned hero in ranked

About 30 seconds into the trailer for Overwatch's new hero Sierra, she shoots a little pink dart into her target. It has no obvious effect on Emre, one of the recently introduced characters, as he slips behind cover to avoid her rifle shots. It almost looks like Sierra never learned how to aim until the dart blinks and her bullets curve back around and rain down on him.
I'm pretty confident that what we're seeing is some kind of auto-aiming ability—which happens to line up with rumors that Sierra's secondary fire will mark targets with that little pink dart. Soldier: 76 has to use a whole ultimate to legally cheat at the game, but it looks like Sierra will get to do it more frequently throughout a match.
The devs behind Peak and Content Warning made a publisher to support their games and other indie developers: 'We help them with money and advice'

Landfall has been making games for over 10 years now. Recent ventures include the co-op climbing sim Peak and the multiplayer horror game Content Warning, both of which I absolutely loved. But now Landfall is preparing for its next step: publishing games.
"We made a publisher to only publish our own games," Landfall announced on social media. "We called it evil because spreadsheets and contracts are evil and some evil people have got to do it." Yeah, that checks out.
Final Fantasy 14 patch 7.5 site teases a potential return to the void for its next expansion
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/mmo/final-fantasy-14-patch-7-5-site-teases-a-potential-return-to-the-void-for-its-next-expansion/
Final Fantasy 14 embarked on a new, multi-expansion story arc with Dawntrail—but in terms of what Dawntrail actually set up, it's all been mostly self-contained so far: With one exception, the Interdimensional Key we picked up during the main story quest. Given how many reflections we've yet to visit, it's a pretty huge get for our Warrior of Light.
Well, looks like we might potentially know where we're going first—that's per the patch 7.5 site, released ahead of the next live letter come April 17. Usually, these sites don't give much away at first, but thanks to a couple of preview screenshots, we might have a solid grasp on where we're going next.
And since there aren't many articles today (thankfully), here are also the shrtened ones:
