You know what happened four hours after the ceasefire dropped? The whole planet was out here lighting candles, posting doves, acting like peace just finally unlocked.
Pakistan PM Sharif goes on record like, "yeah, ceasefire means everywhere, including Lebanon."
Then Netanyahu sets a timer for 4 hours, then casually drops a statement, in english only saying, "actually, Lebanon is not included."
Not in Hebrew. Not for Israelis. This was basically a direct DM to Washington and the international press.
Meanwhile, defense minister already called dibs on 10% of Lebanon, the finance minister said "why stop there, let's go to the Litani River"
Orders already in to expand the "security zone" in southern Lebanon. At this point it's not a ceasefire. It's a rebrand.
Iran gets a ceasefire.
Lebanon gets written in invisible ink.
