That's because you are playing people of your own level. If you're not competitive against level 4s and 5s then you must really suck. In CoD4, It's completely random. You could be at the 10th prestige and you'd still get mixed up with noobs.

Ah yeh I forgot about that. There's matchmaking in Halo so you would be playing ppl who sucked horribly. COD has zero matchmaking so u could be playing COD4 veterans on ur first try
