Games that you loved growing up, but later learned weren’t as fondly viewed?

I don't go back and play too many games, but I can't think of a game I went back to that I really enjoyed and didn't like it when I tried to play it again. Sometimes with games like GoldenEye on the Switch, it's mostly because using the Switch pro controller just isn't the same as using the old school N64 controller.
