It's TMR sticks and they do seem real smooth I ran them through the HardwareTester and it showed only a 0.1% error on circularity test so that's great my 10 month old Xbox one is at over 10% average error with big drift on the axis for comparison. Edit: Added image of them it says Xbox 360 but it's a Gamesir Cyclone 2 and a Xbox Series controller. |
TMR sticks are supposed to be step ahead from Hall Effect ones, and much better than the regular ones used in most official controllers.
It's incredible to think that the Hall Effect technology was already used with the Dreamcast controllers, yet all the other manufacturrs decided to cheapen out on this.
Anyway, the difference between both of your controllers is nuts. I hope it lasts for a long time.

Was this meant for Wooden? My 8BitDo is the one that broke. My Xbox controllers have held up well over the years though I must be hard on my A button because that tends to be what starts giving me issues first. I looked up a repair tutorial on YouTube and bought a little fixit kit in preparation. We'll see how it goes. |
My bad. Yes, the first part was for him. I messed up with all the multi-quotes.
I hope the repair goes as smooth as possible, and with good results.
Please excuse my bad English.
