PC allows you to access any game from any system at zero cost so long as you already own it… so as far as ownership is concerned, PC is far better than PS5/NS2. That said, Steam is definitely a tricky situation, as I don’t feel like I own any of the games I purchase there. But at the same time, I’ll be able to emulate these games regardless come ten years or so… so who cares if I physically own the game?
(In short: I’m very confused lol! Dropping PS5 was 100% the right call though, as all that gave me was modern AAA releases, but where my interests lie are in older games. On top of the far superior performance and greater sense of ownership of non-modern games, it makes sense for me to have moved to PC. I would like to have a physical copy of modern games I really cherish, though mostly just because I like having a tangible object of memorabilia, less so to have any form of legitimate ownership.)
