Double blow for Trump as Iran launches 4,000-km missiles; US lifts oil sanction
Iran has surprised its adversaries by firing two Intermediate-range ballistic missiles at the UK and US base in the Diego Garcia island in the Indian ocean. This is the first time the world has come to know about the Iranian capability of such long-range missiles. On the other hand, the US administration has been forced to reward Tehran with billions of dollars by allowing the Islamic Republic to sell its oil. Rifat Jawaid unpacks these two massive developments.
Iran strikes Israel: Dimona hit in 'revenge' attack for Natanz facility
In a new wave of strikes, Hezbollah and Iran have targeted several cities across southern and northern Israel. The Israeli military says Iranian missiles have hit Dimona in southern Israel. The city is home to Israel's central nuclear facility. At least 47 people have been injured in the attack. Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for an attack on a residential building in the city of Ma'alot Tarshiha in the north.
"What is Iran signaling. It's not about the attack itself. It's not about the missile falling or not falling. It's about the intent. And the intent here is to show how that Iran is capable first of all of launching rockets with such a range. The second thing and and I think this is the most important that what uh Iran is capable right now of is to cancel the red lines the former leader has placed."
Inching closer to nuclear war, targeting nuclear reactors. Taking out Khamenei was the dumbest thing Trump/Netanyahu could do. Well for Trump, Netanyahu wants to blow up the region then pick up the pieces afterwards and create Greater Israel.
