I've mainly been playing as Destroyer. His shield has gotten me out of trouble when other runners have gotten the drop on me. The same can be said of his thruster.
I'm playing on PC with a mouse and keyboard. Imo, MnK is always going to be the best way to play a competitive FPS game. But I barely unlocked all 6 factions last night. Primarily because I've been leveling up Traxus. Huge variety of weapons and weapon mods. Finished the first batch of priority contracts, so I'm currently working on their side contracts to get to level 10 with them.
I honestly mostly go with sponsored kits right now. Primarily because I'm focusing on learning the ins and outs of the maps. I have Perimeter and Dire Mash pretty much mastered. Doing my best to learn Outpost right now. But, at least I'll have plenty of weapons and weapon mods to get from Traxus when I am ready to rock and roll 
I'll most likely bring in an AR/Shotgun combo. I'll be seeing what the best mods are to pair with them.
Primarily playing solo right now. Occasionally, I'll team up with others. Still trying to get my in laws and friends to join me from Arc Raiders lol, but the solo challenge is really addicting. Game has a greater sense of danger. Incredible immersion from the sound design, atmosphere, and the art direction. The voice acting is incredible as well. Haven't engaged much in the narrative content yet, but the little I've experienced so far from the NPCs/Factions, is really intriguing.
