Israeli government is undertaking a 'power grab under cover of war'
Twelve days after the start of the US-Israeli military campaign, Israelis are spending hours a day in bomb shelters as Iranian bombs pour on the country. But since the start of the conflict, neither the Prime minister nor the Defence minister have directly addressed the Israeli population. On top of that, the war is helping 'a de facto annexation of the West Bank', says FRANCE 24's Noga Tarnopolsky from Jerusalem.
Central Beirut targeted in new Israeli airstrikes
Israel is continuing to carry out airstrikes across Lebanon and the scope of those attacks is expanding beyond Hezbollah strongholds south of Beirut, including an apartment building in the centre of the city.
