Iran’s retaliation forces US to shut operations in Kuwait; warship ‘flees’
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard on Thursday claimed it had targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in the Persian Gulf. The Islamic Republic said the warship had fled after the strikes. This came amidst the news of the US State Department announcing suspension of its operations in Kuwait in the wake of the barrage of missiles from Iran.
