Is that 50% of revenue or 50% of units sold?
PC is less profitable for Sony than selling it within their own eco system, pocketing all the money. Also less costly to develop for one system than QA for different PC configurations.
Sure, they'll lose some money not releasing on PC, yet also save on production costs and maximize profit on console sales where they can keep the price higher.
