It's simple, their remakes were revered meanwhile Nixxies contributions weren't. People did not see remakes of TLOU & Horizon as necessary and the exact role of Nixxies is less defined compared to BP.

All the meanwhile Bluepoint had an awareness before Sony purchased them, I don't think any of us knew who Nixxis was or directly attributes them to one of our favourite or most impressive PS4/PS5 experiences. There shouldn't really be any confusion on why people are frustrated from this outcome when they had specific hopes for Bluepoints future

Sure, perhaps. But even if they were greenlit a game, we wouldn't be seeing it till 2028, possibly, 2029, which is just ridiculous.
