Religion has to be removed from politics, all across the world.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee sparked fresh controversy after saying it would be "fine" if Israel expanded to take over the entire Middle East, including lands stretching from the Nile to the Euphrates. The remarks, made during an interview with Tucker Carlson, would encompass modern-day Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and parts of Saudi Arabia. Huckabee, an avowed Christian Zionist appointed by President Donald Trump, later called the statement "somewhat hyperbolic" but stopped short of fully retracting it, leaving open the possibility of Israeli territorial expansion through war. He also attacked the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court as "rogue organisations." The State Department did not comment on whether Secretary of State Marco Rubio shares the ambassador's views.
