With how small and incremental the improvements are with Smartphones these days, it just doesn't make sense to upgrade yearly or even every 3 years.
My 23 Ultra is doing just fine and I see no point in upgrading to the S26 Ultra this year unless I break my current device. (Which is in a bomb-proof/water-proof case to protect it during firefighting operations anyway.)
