That's the sweet spot; around 2 gens later, after 3 they tend to become collector's items, while last gen isn't really "retro" yet.

So that's very true, but PS2 and OG Xbox are still pretty cheap. Not as cheap as they were in 2011 mind you but still cheap. I remember Fallout Games in Tempe AZ having stacks and stacks of Ratchet and Clank 1-3 for $3 each. Now they are about $15 each. For PS2 it's only really the rare RPGs and horror games that are expensive. Oh, and games with soundtrack or other licensing issues, like Def Jam Fight for NY.
