Man, I've been playing UT'99 over the course of the past year, and it's soooooooo good! Has barely aged a day. The Old Unreal community continually puts out patches and bug fixes too. Combo modern resolutions, compatibility, along with 4K resolution mods for textures and models, and you're in business!! Game practically looks brand new being able to play with others online again takes me BACK!

Let me know if you want a link to the 4K mods! If not, download UT'99 as well from Old Unreal's site and have fun!

Thanks I'll probably check out both 99 and 2004, I've only played Unreal at LANs before way back and not entirely sure which version.

Just having memories of playing Unreal at LAN parties is legendary enough!

Here's both links to the mods for UT'99 specifically. If you install UT'99 from the Old Unreal site, it'll automatically include the latest patch that allows modern resolutions and online play. The UT2004 patch primarily added modern resolutions, which is MORE than enough. The game still looks fantastic today!

Have fun! I'm trying to convince my old friends to have a LAN party again lol
