How many years has it been since your favorite game series had a release?

Depends on my definition of series. For instance, Resident Evil is one of my favorite series ever, but only the OG games. Once RE4 came out, and I discovered it was basically a new IP with the RE skin on it, I no longer liked RE. So for that franchise, it's been 26 years.
