Sorry. I misunderstood the OP.
Edit: I think this just falls under personal liberty. If the launching of scores influences you, and you're unhappy with it, just ignore the reviews. Go on an internet black-out until you can buy the game you want, or at least avoid the places where you know you'll see it/read about it. That would be my advice.
