The Amiga won in terms of sales, quality applications and games. Atari and Commodore were very big names around that time.
If you have seen 80/90s Disney movies (like the very popular Lion King), even later ones like Dinosaur they used Amigas for this. Babylon 5, Young Indiana Jones and Seaquest series graphics & effects were done on the Amiga, special effects for movies such as James Bond, Total Recall, Terminator 2, The Abyss and endless others were done on Amigas. NASA used Amigas for their rocket telemetry. The first real virtual reality multiplayer genuine 3D shooter was done on the Amiga, The US and Israeli military trained their pilots on Amiga powered simultators.
The Amiga won.
