There's no shortage of good games on Wii though, you can just ignore Carnival Games or Imagine Petz, like we ignored all the crap on NES, PS1, PS2, etc.

I can. Shelf space can't in the largest retail stores for games at the time. Again same issue as 2600. So perception is soured . Not to mention wii shovelware ratio far higher than those consoles. Wii was not on equal footing tech wise like those consoles were. So wii was not publishers priority but a quick buck.
