PSP was what really got me into gaming, so I initially played PS2, PS3 and Wii as well. But I was really into handheld gaming. Loved playing Game Boy and 3DS too. Did buy a Vita and at first it was a fantastic handheld with some very unique games but the way Sony abandoned it, I never trusted them again. I did buy and play PS4, but as soon as Switch came out, fell in love with that thing.
Mainly play on PC now and do have a Steam Deck but generally prefer playing on a desktop. Although as I got older I play video games a lot less, kind of grew out of it. And as the consoles focus changed forcing installs, downloads, endless updates and patches, just lost interest. I still miss the plug in and play nature of consoles. While the PC always forced all that like installs and updates but Steam especially made everything as seamless as possible.
Handheld PCs are great but don't hit in the same way as PSP, DS/ 3DS or Game Boy. Switch 1 was like the final hurrah, even Switch 2 is too big and not pocketable.

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
