Just to remind you people who are hoping for Trump to be removed through impeachment after the midterms. It unfortunately requires 67 senators voting for his removal, which is extremely unlikely. Right now I see 2 maybe 3 republican senators voting with democrats on this. I think you would at least need a democratic majority of 60-40 in the senate after the midterms for it to be remotely likely, because then some other republicans will see it might be detrimental to them to stick with Trump.
I think it will require the AI bubble to burst completely, which I don’t think will happen already this year (not impossible though), then I can see republican support crumble even more.
Just getting a democratic majority in the congress will make it much more difficult for Trump though.
