1. Russia Liquidates 71% of Its Gold Reserves to Finance War Effort—And the Sell-Off Isn’t Over

Russia has been living off of this since the war began and Ukraine started destroying the refineries. Russia is just a glorified gas station, that's 60-70% of their exports. Once this gold dries up, they won't be able to finance this war, period.

2. Ukraine aims to inflict up to 50,000 casualties on Russia per month, defence minister says

Ukraine is having a turkey shoot in the pokrovosk area.  Russia has 50K troops and they need an enormous amount of logistical support.  So Ukraine has been targeting the incoming trucks with drones, artillery, and bombers.  Right now, Russia is averaging about 1100 casualties per day, which is up from about 900 at the end of the year.  It's slowly getting easier and easier to defeat the orcs because Russia is getting weaker and weaker while Ukraine is gaining strength.  We still haven't seen much of the new missles yet, but it will be a horrible day for Russia when they become ready in large numbers.
