Not that I bought my 4090 for it's resale value but with the way things are going, these flagship gpus might end up appreciating in value instead of depreciating or depreciating at a lower rate than expected. If Ai market continues to increase in demand, all 3 companies will prioritize enterprise over consumers for sure and vram will either be limited or the higher vram gpus will increase in price.
The best play really is to buy the best gpu within your budget range and stick to it for as long as possible and then upgrade when the opportunity arises instead of waiting.
