Trump might want things but I assume military commanders aren't jumping to start killing their friends...
First we would have to disentangle our military from the US. But perhaps it's better to keep our 'enemies' closer.
Putin wouldn't be backing up Trump taking Greenland. China and Russia aren't going to stop the US either, they're fine watching Trump burn the USA down to the ground. Have some more rope to hang yourself. Russia would very much like Europe to turn their back on the US, and Trump invading Greenland would fast track that.
