Divinity Original Sin
Larian did something with this game that made the world feel real. Interactions with the environment affect the turn based combat system in a way that seemed logical. You will think about the fight outside of the actual combat.
If you like deep battle systems in your RPGs go play Divinity Original Sin, the second game or Baldurs Gate 3. To me they are great for the same reasons. But the first Original Sin game is still my favorite. Great to play with your long distance girlfriend as well.
