Dr. Galaria also recounts stories from his time caring for children at the Al-Shifa hospital in November – his second trip to Gaza since October 7 – as Palestinians faced daily Israeli attacks, restricted aid, and no shelter. It all amounts to, in Dr. Galaria’s words, a “systemic effort to target children” by Israel.
