The Legend of Zelda fans, here is something for you. YouTube’s ‘Taylor S. Ellis’ has released a new tech demo of his The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake in Unreal Engine 5.
In this tech demo, the artist has recreated the Kakariko Village. Taylor has used new assets for this tech demo and used most of the tech features of Unreal Engine 5. As such, this fan demo can give us an idea of what a modern remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time could look like in Unreal Engine 5.
Now, contrary to CryZENx’s fan remake, this one only has the Kakariko Village. Moreover, it does not have any gameplay features. There aren’t any enemies to fight. You also won’t get to see Link. All you can do is explore the Kakariko Village.
So, make sure to temper your expectations. This isn’t a fully fledged remake. Instead, it only has one area from the game. The good news, though, is that you can download it for free. All you have to do is join Taylor’s Patreon as a free member. Then, you will be able to find the download link and get it.
