Wouldn't matter if the rest had been the same. The problem with that console was that right off the bat, the message was that it wasn't a game console. It was a media hub that could play games. And don't go thinking just any old games, either. They needed to be new games, because used games were not going to be allowed without jumping through extra hoops. Oh, and also? Always internet is required, because big brother needs to watch you to make sure you aren't being a naughty boy...
We haven't seen a cluster **** like that since the Sega Saturn.
