ZOTAC rejects RTX 5070 Ti fan-issue RMA over “limited tools” and PCB scratches, then offers to dispose of the card

Well, here are two users that will not be buying Asus and Zotac GPUs from now on.

Also, this isn't the first time Asus has done something very similar. I guess their claims that they'd do better are as reliable as their RMA service.

AMD reportedly increases GPU pricing $10 per 8GB, Ryzen CPU price hike unconfirmed

https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-reportedly-increases-gpu-pricing-10-per-8gb-ryzen-cpu-price-hike-unconfirmed

That's a bummer of course, but 10 to 20$/€ isn't that bad, really. I was expecting at least twice that to be honest, considering how much the RAM prices exploded.

It's not a lot on their end, but consumers will have to pay more than that, that's almost guaranteed.

Also, and this is a bit off-topic, this whole story of AMD raising the prices of the memory is starting to bother me, but for another motive.

For one reason or another, this is the third article about AMD and the raise of memory prices. We got the first one from the board channels where it was rumored to happen, then we got the one saying prices would go up by $20 to $40 and now we get this one.

Meanwhile, Nvidia stopping the supply of memory to its partners only got one.

Both are bad, but because of this difference in amount of articles, the AMD move gives the impression of being worse when it could be argued that Nvidia's move is worse as small brands will have a worse time sourcing those chips, putting their operations at risk.
