Not sure how I’ll go about getting Windows. But once I get the PC set up — I plan on building it myself (unless you think it might be wise to have somebody else handle it?) — I’ll get things sorted out.

Building a PC isn't that hard, as there are only very few places where you can make a mistake. And the motherboard manual usually helps with that.

That said, there are youtube videos about how to build a PC and, if you're a first timer, it may be useful to watch at least one of them. Linus has one in POV mode that may be more easy to follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC-Xn2C_L1U
