Where Winds Meet is phenomenal. The most underrated game I ever played (per critical scores). I think people are waking up to how great this game is at its core. Being a new IP, f2p, from a Chinese publisher is imo a recepe for harsh reception and scrutiny. Bethesda and CD Projekt Red can get away with much worse, as do most reputable developers.
I wouldn't recommend playing it now because I don't want the heaps of technical problems it currently has to sour the experience or repell you from giving it a deeper dive. Hopefully they iron out most problems within a year, because this is a special game that deserves better.
