Well, that’s not how Trump’s people are spinning it but it feels like an accurate assessment at least to me. A modern day Hoare-Laval Pact.

It's rediculous that he doesn't have the common sense to realize that it won't work.  You can only game the system so much before people start rebelling.  He's been making these secret deals and maneuvered for years and it was hard before but it will be next to impossible now.
