Israeli air strikes, demolitions continue behind yellow line

We’ve been hearing a series of explosions since early morning despite the ceasefire agreement being in place. The vast majority of these air strikes took place behind the yellow demarcation line, in areas under Israeli military control.

We have heard from civilians that the sound of these attacks continues to be heard, especially for families living adjacent to the line. Many have reported seeing Israeli bulldozers and tanks demolishing residential homes inside these areas, complicating the potential return of Palestinians.

Palestinian man wounded in Israeli attack in southern Gaza

Israeli attacks are part of the ongoing reality that we see daily in Gaza. What’s been disturbing is that people are still being wounded by Israel’s attacks.

This morning, we saw a Palestinian man wounded in Khan Younis. Yesterday evening, Israeli drones dropped grenades on the gates of UN-run shelters in the Tuffah neighbourhood of Gaza City.

We’ve been hearing the hum of Israeli drones and seeing jets above Gaza City.

Bombing is being heard in eastern parts of Gaza City and the eastern edge of Khan Younis, where residents report constant Israeli military activity. They’re continuing to demolish homes there in the zone under Israeli control.
