Well, after trying Star Wars Outlaws demo...yeah, nVidia is the way to go currently, if you want things like Ray Reconstruction and RTXDI (and I find them they make quite a difference), so currently they still have upper hand.
That said, AMD will up their game significantly in next generation of GPUs.
