I doubt Sony is wasting their time with their own launcher.

It's DOA no matter how you try to sell it.

How so? If a PlayStation store opens which allows consumers to exclusively access PS5/PS6 digital library on PC through this launcher, then that seems like a recipe for a ton of success. Especially if Sony were to start to sell their first-party titles exclusively through their launcher (once it’s big enough).

Also, I’m getting a little more used to the VR in Astro’s Rescue Mission. It’s a very unique experience, never played anything like it! Literally being immersed in a 3D platformer world is kinda surreal… unfortunate I have to take a 15-20min break once every hour or so.

Edit— I’m giving you all an update on my Astro experience: What a shame that this game got virtually zero recognition when it launched. This is a very delightful experience! I’m not sure I’s say it’s better than Astro Bot (2024), but the VR novelty really makes for an extremely immersive experience. Also, 4hr straight in a single VR session (i.e. with no breaks) and no signs of motion sickness.

This game should’ve been marketed more aggressively; this game arguably demonstrates how VR is truly revolutionary and necessary medium for video games.
