Even those have stopped now about 10 years ago.

At least we got a remake/remaster (it's built on the original code, but the visuals are all new) of the very first one last year, but that's really the only news in the series in a long time.

I haven't played any of those spin-offs (my "anime is off-putting" thing - I know, my loss). Once I get my hands on AYN Thor, Wizardry 1 remake looks like one of the games that would be perfect fit for my current (and for foreseeable future) gaming time allotment.
