Katz setting the next unattainable goal
Israel’s defence chief orders military to destroy all Hamas tunnels
Defence Minister Israel Katz says he instructed the military to “destroy and annihilate” all tunnels used by Hamas in Gaza, saying this will lead to the group’s downfall.
“If there are no tunnels, there is no Hamas,” said Katz in a post on X.
Hamas is a resistance movement with or without tunnels. There's no way to stop people from digging or to verify there are no tunnels unless you plan on paving the entire Gaza strip in 10 ft concrete...
This is nothing but an excuse to sell to the western media to keep the occupation going indefinitely.
The other delusional clown
Trump: International stabilisation force to be in Gaza ‘very soon’
The multinational force – likely to include troops from Egypt, Qatar, Turkiye, and the UAE – is part of Trump’s post-war governance plan for Gaza.
“It’s going to be very soon, and Gaza is working out very well,” Trump said at a White House function with Central Asian leaders. “You haven’t been hearing too much about problems, and I’ll tell you, we’ve had countries that have volunteered if there’s a problem with Hamas.”
The force is supposed to train and support vetted Palestinian police in the Gaza Strip, with backing from Egypt and Jordan. “Peace in Gaza is strong, and if Hamas doesn’t play its part, it will reap the consequences of its actions,” warned Trump.
If you follow mainstream news... Problems in Gaza are unchanged, Israel has excluded Turkey from participating, Egypt is a corrupt dictatorship playing along with the US and Israel, UAE the same and has been / is supporting RSF's genocide in Sudan. Qatar also caved in to US/Israeli pressure, bombed by Israel with impunity.
And new problems
Hamas now battling Israeli-backed militias for Gaza territory
Since the ceasefire began in early October, Israeli forces have conducted about 190 attacks across Gaza, killing more than 240 Palestinians. The vast majority of this violence occurred close to the “yellow line” ceasefire demarcation.
In parallel, intra-Palestinian violence has increased to its highest levels since the war began in 2023.
“This [Hamas] campaign targeted at least three major clans that the group accused of collaborating with Israel or looting aid,” said Nasser Khdour, Middle East analyst with the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data (ACLED).
“Hamas forces also clashed with four other Israel-backed militias operating across four of Gaza’s governorates in Israel-controlled zones. As internal violence later declined, Hamas worked to regain control west of the Yellow Line and deployed thousands of fighters and police officers to restore security governance. But as Hamas works to regain control in this security vacuum, intra-Palestinian violence is very likely to continue.”
