They defined what the product was and what it wasn't from the very beginning. It wasn't a situation of a product that "lacked" something or just buying for the sake of buying. It was a situation were a new good product was managed with precaution and it actually found a profitable market. 

Which again, I don't understand, because for it to be profitable it had to be $200 to stream your own games to a smaller screen with handles attached. To each their own, but I would never consider that a value proposition in my book.

And that's one of the coolest things that can happen to technology, releasing something that on paper shouldn't work but it works.
